Brutus in Julius Caesar

I'm a loyal member of the amazing New Genesis Productions Youth Shakespeare Theater and we just finished the show, Julius Caesar. I played Brutus, a role I've always wanted to play!! The whole experience was amazing! (I made this trailer for the show too)

 

Our Town

 

I just played Doc Gibbs in Firebird Theater's off-Broadway production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town. I loved this role and getting to work with the Firebird crew again.

 

 

School Night

I just wrapped shooting my new short film, School Night. It was an amazing 5 day shoot in New Paltz, NY! Thanks to the amazing cast: Zoe Harvey, Mary Kunicki, Brandon Sawhill Aja, and Robert Burke Warren. And to all the amazing crew, especially my cinematographer Leo Lion and my sound guy, Archie Lewis-Harris (who is also going to compose an original score to this movie). Now onto editing!!

 

Hallelujah

We were recently in Mesa, AZ, visiting my grandparents! My grandad is a great guy and a great singer, so we made a music video of him singing Hallelujah! We got all their friends involved, as you can see.

Japan and China

 

We just got back from 3 weeks in Japan and China! In Japan, we visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and a Mount Koya. Highlights included: Ryoanji Rock garden, Okunoin Cemetery, Toda-ji Temple (with those hungry deers!), and the Tokyo National Museum. In China, we spent 8 days in Beijing and a day at the Great Wall of China! Highlights included: The Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, Chairman's Mao's mausoleum, the National Art Museum of Beijing, and taking the toboggan down from the Great Wall of China! Before we went, we watched a lot of Ozu and Kurosawa movies, as well as reading a lot about Shintoism, Buddhism, and Zen.
